In the Ohio Village of St. Joseph, Randolph, lies a 180 year old bucolic cemetery. 3,500 persons are buried here including Civil War Veterans. The oldest part of the cemetery has a “Stairway to Heaven” ascending to a large crucifix at the top of the hill. The upper and more recent parts of the cemetery are tree shaded and have several wood carvings from aged trees that promote a sense of history, heritage, and continued life.
The cemetery resembles a crown hovering over the rural country church, over a school that dates to 1832, over a Grotto of our Lady of Lourdes with its walking path and Stations of the Cross. The setting in all four seasons is peaceful, inspiring, and uplifting.
Open year round from dawn to dusk, this ancient setting is a final resting place for myriads of families offering a place to reflect, to mourn, and to heal. If you are a person of faith and remembrance, you are welcome to inquire about a final resting place for loved ones.
